Paul Vittles FMRS FRSA has a unique set of skills and services to offer clients and business partners of The Vittles Organisation. He is a highly skilled and experienced executive coach, business mentor, trainer and workshop facilitator. Paul has been a researcher and consultant for 27 years and, during this time, a sought-after conference speaker and commentator.
Paul’s particular area of expertise these days is designing and facilitating team visioning exercises. He is expert in engaging teams in the process of mapping out where they want to be in 3-5 years’ time and then helping them get there. Paul also delivers keynote talks and runs workshops on “Creating & Delivering An Inspiring, Shared Vision”.
With an academic background as an economist, Paul’s professional training was in market research, social research, and behavioural research. Paul has practiced as a professional researcher for 27 years. He is a Fellow of the UK Market Research Society and a Full Member of the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS). Paul co-chaired the highly successful 2009 AMSRS Conference ‘100 Stories’.
In addition to being a keynote speaker, Paul is a Professional Listener. From his 27 years practising as a professional researcher and his 14 years practising as an executive coach, Paul has developed expertise in listening, and training others how to listen more effectively. Paul helps his clients to listen more effectively to their customers, clients, employees, and key stakeholders. Active listening and empathic listening often hold the key to solutions in so many aspects of life and business, and they can be used to prevent problems occurring.
Paul has moderated more than 1000 focus groups, and facilitated more than 400 workshops. He has undertaken thousands of interviews across a diverse range of audiences, from board directors and senior government leaders, to consumers and public service users, to disadvantaged young people and the families of murder victims. Paul is acknowledged as a master of tailored research designs and insightful analysis.
Paul has been in CEO/director level positions in some of the world’s leading knowledge-based consultancies for the past 20 years. He now uses this knowledge and experience very effectively in working with knowledge-based consultancies and service organisations.
Paul has been a business development consultant since 1993, and a practicing executive coach since 1997. He has worked one-on-one, with teams, and with organisations in the commercial world, government, and not-for-profit sector. Paul works alone and with other coaches to meet the needs of clients who require executive coaching or mentoring.

Paul has led transformational change programmes in government and business. He has designed and implemented performance management and continuous improvement systems, and developed his own Performance Assurance framework. Paul is recognised as an authority on stakeholder engagement – communities, customers, employees, etc – and effective visioning & performance management through engagement. In recent years, Paul has been a pioneer in the field of online community engagement.

Paul is also Chairman of the RSA in Australia and New Zealand. The RSA was formed in London in 1754, becoming established in Australia in 1971. It is an international network of 28,000 Fellows, all achievers in their respective fields, dedicated to removing barriers to social progress.
